April 14 - Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord

+ May the suffering and death of Jesus Christ strengthen the Church in holiness and give her new growth.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ May the leaders of our country and people in wealthy nations heed the call to share their resources with those living in poverty and facing violence in Central America.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ On this special day, may we reflect on Jesus, who always and in very circumstance remembered who he was.  Help us to be more like him.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ That those who are to be baptized and received into the  Church at the Easter Vigil will find these final days of preparation to be a time of transforming grace.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ May we in this parish community work together to further your work on earth - right here, right now.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ May our Lenten discipline continue to transform the way we live so as to bring forth ever deeper conformity to you.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick, including Virginia Massett, sister of Karen Brookman; Carolanne Sinclair; Angela Downs; Chris Hurley; Michelle Morrison, and Molly Malloy.  We also pray for those who have died.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

+ In thankfulness for all that is written in our Parish Book of Thanksgiving.  We pray also for the intentions written in the Parish Book of Intercessions and those we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Jesus who died for our sins, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
