April 1 - Feast of The Resurrection of the Lord

+ That the newly baptized and confirmed will find in the Church the meaning and happiness for which their hearts long.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ In this sacred season, may the song of Resurrection find its place in our hearts.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ In thanksgiving and gratitude, we ask your blessings on all those present today.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ We ask that you leaven our community with the Resurrection life so that we might go out into the world to help heal the world and transform it with your love.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ For each of us: may we come to share in the concrete power of the resurrection in the areas of our lives where we need it most.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ For all those who are sick including our Pastoral Coordinator Ron Ryan, and Jill Ragsdale.  We also pray for those who have died, including John Clarke, brother of Jackie Hennes. Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

+ For the prayers we hold in the silence of our hearts.  Holy Spirit of gladness and joy, we pray.

The Petitions offered at Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses are written by  St. Anne parishioners who meet to consider the needs of our community, our church and our world in light of the scriptures.  If you would like to participate in this ministry, you are already invited:  No experience or special knowledge is needed, just a heartfelt desire to pray with our community.  For questions, or to participate, please call Carol Ford at 206-281-5920.
