Faith Formation for Children (religious education)
This program is a family centered program for children in grades 1-6 who do not attend Catholic schools. Parents stay with their children and join in the learning and faith sharing process, Sundays prior to 10AM Mass. Marian Young (282-0223).

Faith Formation for Adults
This program provides opportunities to come together in different settings and share our faith as we grow deeper in our understanding of Catholic teachings. Seasonal faith sharing, topical adult series and parish Mission are examples of what is available. Ron Ryan (282-0223).

1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist
Children in the second grade or who are at least 7 years of age who have already been baptized in the Catholic Church are prepared to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. If the child does not attend either the parish school or another Catholic school, it is preferred that he/she has been participating in Sunday Faith Formation for at least one year prior to beginning preparation. Parents are involved in the process with their children. Marian Young (282-0223).

RCIA adapted for children
Children who are age 7 and older preparing for baptism and initiation into the Catholic Church. The length of the process differs depending on family history and prior religious formation. The Church continues to maintain the tradition of baptizing infants.
Marian Young (282-0223).

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
A process designed for non-Catholics interested in learning about the Catholic Church and seeking Baptism in the Catholic Church or full communion with the Catholic Church if baptized in another tradition. Ron Ryan (282-0223).

Returning Catholics
An invitation for persons who have been away from the Catholic Church and would like to return and are not sure how to go about it. Frank Handler (282-0223).

SacraMentors
A challenging four-week series that presents a process of sanctification for Catholics. At the end, candidates meet in small, ongoing faith-sharing groups. Bill Gillis (286-3092).

Women’s Spirituality in Everyday Life
A faith-sharing gathering for women on the first and third Tuesday of the month. A time to reflect, grow, share, know the unfailing power of prayer, interdependence and connectedness in the changing seasons of our lives. Our gatherings are times of transformation, support and encouragement. Facilitator: Sr. Anna Rourke. Contact: Janice Orth (284-4099).

Lay Presiders
Persons delegate by the pastor, who, in the absence of a priest, celebrate the Eucharist, lead the faithful in the Liturgy of the Word and distribute Holy Communion. Ron Ryan (282-0223) and Judy Clark (283-5774).

Youth Ministry
Young parishioners (grades 7-12) are invited and encouraged to be active in the life of the parish in a number of events and activities during the year: Monthly high school “Youth Nites,” junior high dances, day trips, archdiocesan youth events, retreats, and a variety of summer service projects. Volunteer adult leadership opportunities are available.

Single Parents
Single parents can seek practical and spiritual help from peers within this supportive ministry. The group is comprised of new single parents with small children as well as those who now have adult children. All share their experiences to help each other on the journey. Frank Handler (282-0223)
